How to cultivate potted grapes and control grape d

  • Detail

Potted grapes are the general term of container grapes. Those who cultivate grapes in pots, boxes, barrels, planting tanks and other containers can be called potted grapes. The potted grapes bear fruit early. If they are cultivated and managed properly, they can bear fruit in two years. Each pot of grapes can produce 1-3kg of fruit, and more can reach 4-5kg

potted grapes are the general term of container grapes.

I. preparation of containers and pot soil

1. Containers

available containers include earthen pots, pottery pots, purple sand pots, wooden pots, plastic flowerpots, etc., which can be selected according to conditions. For potted grapes, containers with a mouth diameter of about 20-25cm can be used in the first year, and containers with a mouth diameter of 30-40cm can be used after 2-3 years. It can be determined according to the production volume and site space

2. Pot soil preparation

1. Pot soil requirements

require loose, fertile loam rich in organic matter and calcium. We can also use local materials according to the specific conditions of various regions, and choose culture materials with wide sources, low cost, no diseases and pests, and no pollution. Commonly used materials include sapropelic soil, peat soil, pastoral soil, sandstone, bone meal, expanded chicken manure, etc

2. Pot soil preparation and disinfection

the commonly used preparation formulas are ① 4 parts of leaf rot soil, 3 parts of garden soil, 3 parts of coarse sand and 0.5 parts of bone powder; ② 7 portions of rural soil, 2 portions of coarse sand (or slag), 1 portion of expanded chicken manure, and 0.5 portion of bone meal. After mixing the pot soil, spray it evenly with 0.1% formalin solution (500ml per cubic pot soil). Then seal it with plastic film. After fumigating for a day and a night, remove the film and dry it for 3-4 days, and then put it into a basin for use

II. Suitable varieties

grape varieties available for potting include Jufeng, Jingya, Jingchao, izujin, heiolin, Jingyu, Phoenix 51, Delaware, 8611, 8612, Zizhenxiang, American Heiti, etc

III. pot loading and soil changing

after selecting the flowerpot, it is best to soak it in 1% bleach water for 5 minutes, take it out and dry it, and then put it into the sterilized culture soil. The seedlings used for potted grapes can be directly cutted in the flowerpot with cuttings and cultivated into seedlings. When cutting, it is best to cut 2 cuttings in each pot in order to select and keep the pot soil moist. You can also transplant 1-3-year-old grape plants with soil mass before germination. When transplanting, the branches and vines of the plant should be heavily cut, and generally 1-3 strong branches and vines should be selected. In the year of transplanting, the key is to restore the tree vigor, cultivate the tree shape, lay a good foundation, and don't bear fruit first

after the plants grow in the pot for 1-2 years, the original container space can no longer meet the requirements of root growth and development, and the nutrients of the pot soil are gradually reduced. Therefore, the container needs to be changed from small to large or the basin soil needs to be replaced. This work is generally carried out before the dormancy period is about to end and growth begins. When changing pots or soil, part of the withered roots should be cut off and watered immediately after changing, so as to facilitate the recovery of plant growth

IV. shaping

generally, there are two kinds of potted grape shaping:

1. Single pole

is suitable for small and medium-sized potted plants. In the year of planting, a bamboo pole or No. 8 iron wire is set up in the center of the pot, with a height of about 1m. After the new shoots sprout, select a strong shoot as the main vine, bind it to the bamboo pole, and pick the heart when it grows to 80-90cm. Except for the top of one of the secondary shoots, the rest are left with 1-2 leaves to pick the heart repeatedly. When cutting in winter, the mature branches and vines can be cut to leave 50cm. After germination in the second year, leave 3-5 strong new shoots on the main vine, and the remaining buds should be wiped out in time. During winter pruning, 2-3 buds of each new shoot are left for pruning as the fruiting mother branch. After budding in the third year, leave 1-2 new shoots per fruiting mother branch, and then cut short every year

2. Fan shaped

in the winter of the planting year, the new shoots above 60cm are cut short and kept as the trunk, and the new shoots are tilted and bound every 10-15cm in the next year. During the winter cutting, the new shoots are cut short into the fruiting mother branches with 1-3 buds, and in the third year, 1-2 fruiting branches are left on each fruiting mother branch for fruiting. The new shoots and fruit ears are evenly distributed on the same plane, and the flowerpot and sector are enlarged with the increase of the tree body

v. fertilizer and water management

1. Fertilization

the principle of fertilization for potted grapes is to apply fertilizer sparsely and frequently. For the pot seedlings that have not yet borne fruit, generally, the height of the seedlings is about 20cm (i.e. 6-7 leaves), and the cake, fertilizer and water are applied once every 7-10 days until the end of September. Potted grapes that have borne fruit should be applied once every 5 days to ensure the requirements of fruit development. After the fruit is harvested, it is applied according to the pot seedling. Pay attention to watering immediately after each application of liquid fertilizer. Fertilizer can also be sprayed on the leaves. The method is to spray 0.1% - 0.3% urea solution 2-3 times in the early stage of potted grape growth; From the fruit expansion period, spray 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution 3-4 times every 7-10 days

the application time is divided into base fertilizer and topdressing. (1) The base fertilizer should be applied before and after the national day, mainly decomposed farmyard manure. (2) The most suitable topdressing is human excrement and urine. Urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium bicarbonate, potassium sulfate and calcium superphosphate can also be applied, which can be applied in three times generally. 1. Sprout fertilizer. For plants with more fruits and weak tree vigor, it is beneficial to the development of juniper when the buds are expanded. It is mainly human feces and urine, and it should not be applied too late, but 30 days before flowering — Apply for 40 days. 2. Fat after flower. Applying it from flower senescence to young fruit expansion period can promote fruit expansion and is conducive to flower bud differentiation of new shoots. It is a fertilizer that must be applied. It is mainly nitrogen, with appropriate phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Each plant was mixed with 250g of calcium superphosphate and 50&mdash of potassium sulfate; 100 grams. 3. Fruit fertilizer. Apply it 20 days before fruit picking, mainly in the first ten days of July, mainly phosphorus and potassium, with a small amount of nitrogen fertilizer, 250 grams of calcium superphosphate and 50&mdash of potassium sulfate per plant; 100g, add amine sulfate and urea as appropriate, and then irrigate or dissolve in water for application

2. Watering

when watering, the water temperature should be close to the soil temperature, and it is appropriate to water before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m; The water quality is better, and the watering times depend on the season. Generally, the temperature in early spring is low, and watering can be done every 2-3 days. As the temperature increases, the evaporation increases, and watering can be done once a day or two. After the temperature gradually decreases in autumn, the watering times gradually decrease, and it is appropriate to wet the basin soil

VI. pest control

potted grapes have fewer pests, with the focus on diseases. Common diseases include downy mildew, white rot, anthrax, black pox, etc

the grape can be sprayed with 3-5 pomegranate sulfur mixture during the dormancy period. After germination, spray 1:0.5:200 Bordeaux solution or 500 times compound carbendazim solution every 10-15 days. General diseases can be prevented and controlled
